MISSION
Guided by our organizational purpose, we inspire, promote, and nurture enduring friendship, personal development, leadership excellence, innovative growth among our members.
VISION
To be a premier women’s organization by creating an enriching environment which is essential for all, and empowering our members for life.

NATIONAL HISTORY
Alfa Lloyd, Mary Collins, Anna Keen, Julia Bishop, Mabelle Minton, and Anne Simmons were among the first women admitted into Miami University in the fall of 1902. The friendship that our founders shared inspired them to find a way to preserve their newfound sisterhood and to find a way to share this relationship with other, like-minded young women. Dr. Guy Potter Benton, the president of the university, helped these women found the Delta Zeta Sorority upon the ideals of sisterhood, leadership, and service.
While our founders faced many challenges during their years at Miami University, their perseverance remained ever steadfast, and their vision has now impacted thousands of women across the country.
NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS
Delta Zeta’s National Headquarters is located in Miami, Ohio, where our National Historical Museum makes it possible to house the mementos and information that document our Sorority’s rich history.
CHAPTER HISTORY
The Pi Chi chapter of Delta Zeta was founded at WKU in the fall of 2015 when a group of women wanted to be a part of something different — something more. Since its founding, the Delta Zeta Pi Chi chapter has enabled its members to grow and prosper through its core values of leadership, service, respect, academics, teamwork, and self-confidence.
